Oftentimes the way out of a difficult situation requires us to take a different path. Whatever we’ve been doing no longer seems to be working. Perhaps, change is necessary. And yet, change in difficult times can feel impossible.
Psychotherapy can help. While our struggles keep us stuck and isolated, I seek to walk side-by-side with you to explore a new path - one that will make sense of the confusion, remove shame and despair, and bring hope.
My wish is that one day you will look back and see how far you’ve come.
About Me
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I have a background in law, and experience with family / divorce mediation.
Services
I have a passion for helping couples break unhealthy relationship patterns in order to repair trust, rebuild connection and establish a deeper understanding of one another. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the most evidence-based and empirically validated framework for couple therapy. I work with interracial couples and couples of all backgrounds and faiths.
I work equally with individuals on various issues including depression, anxiety, self-esteem and identity issues, life transitions, relationship challenges, parenting issues, and workplace issues. I take a holistic approach that is attachment-informed, trauma-informed and collaborative.
In-Person & Online
My office is located 2 minutes from Chester Station on Line 2 of the TTC subway system. I am also able to provide online therapy. Flexible appointment times are available.
